For our client, leader company in Renewables Sector, we are looking for a
Legal Specialist Renewables
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will report directly to the Legal Manager / Head of Legal Affairs and collaborate closely with various departments across the company, including Development, Engineering, Asset Management, and other corporate support teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation, review, and negotiation of a wide variety of commercial contracts, such as:
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), and term sheets
- Development contracts
- EPC and O&M agreements
- Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
- Consultancy and construction-related agreements
- Providing support in M&A transactions and project finance operations, including:
- Data room coordination
- Due diligence activities
- Assistance during closing phases
- Supporting corporate governance and company secretarial activities, including:
- Drafting board meeting minutes
- Preparing powers of attorney
- Maintaining and organizing corporate records and documentation
- Assisting with compliance-related matters, including:
- Implementation and monitoring of organizational compliance models (such as Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001)
- Privacy and data protection issues
- Internal procedures and company policies
- Monitoring developments in the energy and environmental regulatory framework and providing support to internal teams accordingly
- Assisting in the management of disputes and pre-litigation matters, while coordinating with external legal advisors
Supporting contract administration activities, including document management and monitoring contractual deadlines and obligations
Your Profile
The Company will consider applicants that meet the following requirements:
- Master's Degree in Law
- 2?4 years of relevant experience gained either in a law firm or within the legal department of a structured company
- Strong motivation and interest in the energy and infrastructure industry
- Good understanding of civil and commercial law
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous academic or professional experience in energy law or administrative law
- Basic understanding of project finance
- Prior experience within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors
