The objective of the position is to lead sourcing activities for electronic components and systems, as well as developing and executing global or regional sourcing strategies for assigned production material commodities. Your responsibilities will be:Strategic Sourcing & Commodity Management:Manage and implement purchasing strategies for electronic components and systemsDevelop and implement with a team of commodity managers long-term commodity strategies aligned with business, cost, quality, and risk objectivesLead supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting for production materialsDrive total cost of ownership (TCO) reductionsMonitor market trends, raw material indices, and supply risksLeadership & People Management:Lead, coach, and develop a team of commodity managers and buyersSet objectives, KPIs, and performance expectationsFoster a high-performance and continuous-improvement-oriented cultureSupplier & Stakeholder Management:Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliersLead supplier performance management (quality, delivery, cost, innovation, sustainability)Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teamsOperational Excellence:Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirementsSupport new product introductions by ensuring sourcing readinessFinancial & Risk Management:Manage commodity budgets and contribute to annual cost-saving targetsIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks To be successful in this role you'll need to have:Bachelor's degree in Engineering Supply Chain, Business, or related fieldMaster's degree preferred10+ years in purchasing, strategic sourcing, or commodity management in an international environmentExtensive experience in electronic components and systemsExperience in manufacturing or industrial contextsProven experience in leading and developing teamsStrong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis toolsExcellent negotiation capabilitiesStrong supplier management and cross-functional collaboration skillsFluency in Italian and English Nice to have:Experience in value engineering or TCO optimization initiativesBackground in electronic manufacturing or industrial supply chains What we offer:Permanent full – time contractBenefits: Smart working, Company canteen, Competitive reward salary Workplace: Valbrembo (BG) We are committed to guarantee equal employment opportunities.
