We are looking for a Scientist with hands-on experience in analytical sciences to join our bacterial metabolite R&D unit, focusing on targeted and untargeted metabolite analysis using LC/GC-MS technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform LC and GC-MS analysis of bacterial metabolites in an R&D setting
  • Interpret results using metabolomics software (MetaboAnalyst, LabSolution)
  • Support experimental design, data analysis, and report writing
  • Assist with lab maintenance and reagent inventory management

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • MSc in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Documented experience with LC and/or GC-MS chromatographic analysis; MS experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with standard biochemical techniques (UV-VIS spectroscopy, SDS-PAGE, sample preparation/extraction)
  • Good statistical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team
