Portofolio Techicnal Director - Packaging Industry  

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be responsible for:

• Defining the technical product roadmap in alignment with business objectives and market needs.
• Leading innovation initiatives in packaging and labelling machinery, introducing new and advanced technologies.
• Developing new product features and upgrades based on customer insights and competitive benchmarking.
• Analysing market trends and competitor offerings to identify differentiation opportunities and strategic advantages.
• Providing technical input to support the commercial organisation in product positioning and go‑to‑market strategy.
• Collaborating cross‑functionally to ensure effective and timely product development and launch.
• Ensuring technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the machinery portfolio.

• Availability to travel nationally and internationally (trade shows, customer visits, production sites), approx. 30-40%.
• 10+ years of experience in similar leadership roles, ideally within the industrial machinery or packaging sectors.
• Strong leadership skills and strategic vision, with proven managerial capabilities.
• Solid understanding of aftermarket business models, including spare parts, service sales, and lifecycle value creation.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast‑paced environments, with international exposure.
• Experience in entrepreneurial, rapidly scaling, or transformation‑driven contexts is a strong plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a customer‑centric and results‑driven mindset.
