Per azienda cliente, realtà leader nel suo settore, siamo attualmente alla ricerca di un DO Safety Management Specialist.
Responsabilità
ACTIVITIES:
- Representing, together with Safety Manager, SMS focal point for Design Organization and Engineering departments, ensuring effective SMS implementation across all areas
- Maintaining knowledge of external regulations and internal company procedures
- Maintaining DO SMS documentation (SMS Manual and operative procedures) and records
- Supporting safety activities aligned to DO Safety Policy and Objectives
- Supporting the Safety Manager in coordinating Safety Action Groups (SAGs) and Safety Review Boards (SRBs)
- Managing of DO Voluntary Occurrence Reports (VORs) and their relevant investigation
- Supporting the Safety Manager in investigating, analyzing and identifying of the safety hazard and risks related to VORs and/or matters related to a specified area of expertise, including analysis and development of recommendations to prevent reoccurrence
- Support and maintaining Hazard Identification and Risk Management (HIRM detection reports) libraries
- Track and analyze safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement through Safety Assurance means (e.g. Safety Performance Indicators)
- Supporting the Safety Manager in leading safety improvement initiatives and leading, when required, Safety Working Groups (SWGs)
- Supporting the Design Organization and Engineering departments to undertake specific safety-related activities such as:
- Management of Change
- Hazard Identification and Risk Management
- Promoting a positive and active safety culture
- Delivering SMS training to staff and management to improve understanding and performance of the SMS
- Provide collection, editing, and dissemination of safety information to promote safety awareness through SMS-DO Newsletter and dedicated Safety Information letters to Operators/Customers
- Preparing safety data and presentations for forums and leadership teams.
Profilo
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering is preferred. Also applicable Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in an Industrial Engineering Faculty (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronic) or equivalent.
- Comprehensive understanding of aviation regulations with emphasis on EASA Part 21J
- Previous experience in in aerospace/aviation safety and quality systems or similar roles and knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS) and ICAO standards (Annex 19, Doc 9859) are a plus
TECHNICAL AND IT SKILLS
- MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access), PowerBI
- SAP
- Visual Basic is a plus
LANGUAGES
- Fluent Italian (both spoken and written)
- Fluent English (both spoken and written)
- A third languages (fluent both spoken and written) is a plus
SOFT SKILLS
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in dynamic environments
- Demonstrated role flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
- Self-starter who operates independently while actively supporting team objectives
- Proficient with root cause analysis and structured problem-solving tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experienced engaging senior Leaders, Regulators, and Operators/Customers representatives
- Good presentation skills
- Organizational and analytical skills
- Strong orientation to work in team
- Ability to communicate professionally in written responses to e-mails and in reports
