Job description
For our client we are looking for a Certification Engineer.
Responsabilità
The main purposes of the
Certification Engineer is to develop the certification program plan for the
entire helicopters or for H/C modifications, identifying the type certification
and qualification basis starting from the product specifications and consequently
develop the associated certification and qualification plan.
The main accountabilities of the role are:
- Under Airworthiness Engineer (AE) oversight, discuss with the Civil Authority (EASA) and/or the National Military Authority (DAAA) for all the aspects linked with certification.
- Develop in cooperation with the AE and the technical departments, the documentation availability schedule and in association with the CPE office, monitor the progresses of the documentation production.
- Identify and highlight the risks and the issues that could impair the program targets achievements.
- Check the technical documentation with focus on the respect of the high level program rules, airworthiness requirements and performance requirements as applicable, templates and for what concerns the coherence with the certification plan content.
- Promote the development of certification strategy and procedures spreading their knowledge within the office and the company. This may include to contribute in procedure development and preparation.
- Work in close cooperation with the CVEs in order to assure the timely involvement and supporting the technical validation of the document content.
- Update the compliance check list for the assigned disciplines, following up the documentation production.
Profilo
Required Skills:
- Technical Degree and knowledge about aircraft certification and qualification process
- Knowledge / Experience with Aviation Authorities
- Ability to conduct and organize internal and with Aviation Authorities meetings
- Communication
- Planning and sense of urgency
- Negotiation and conflict reconciliation
- English mandatory
- Available to travel nationally and abroad for short period.
