Descrizione annuncio
The HR Business Partner will work closely with the HR Director to support the integration, development, and evolution of the Italian organization within an international and expanding context. The role combines a strong operational foundation - including HR administration, contractual activities, processes, and integration management - with growing exposure to softer and more strategic HR topics such as recruitment, training and development, people strategy, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
The position is designed for someone interested in contributing both operationally and strategically, playing an active role in building HR foundations while progressively supporting the broader evolution of the people function. Initially, the role will be strongly hands-on, with an approximate balance of 70% operational responsibilities and 30% strategic/people-related activities. Over the following 12-18 months, this balance is expected to naturally evolve toward a more strategic HR Business Partner positioning as structures, processes, and organizational foundations become more established.
Responsabilities are:
- Manage HR administrative, contractual, and payroll-related activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations
- Support onboarding, employee documentation, contracts, and day-to-day HR operations
- Partner closely with the HR Director to support the evolution of the HR function in Italy
- Contribute to the integration and alignment of multiple business units following past acquisitions
- Support organizational design, role clarity, and workforce structuring initiatives
- Act as a trusted HR partner for managers on people, culture, and leadership topics
- Drive the development and implementation of core HR processes and policies
- Support talent, performance, and capability development initiatives as the organization matures
- Ensure consistency and alignment of HR practices with Group standards and local requirements
- Manage relationships with external HR providers and advisors
- Facilitate change management initiatives during phases of organizational transformation
- Collaborate with international stakeholders and Group HR on cross-border projects
- Availability for short business trips across Italy is required (on average 3-4 times per month), sometimes with limited notice depending on business and integration needs
We are looking for an HR professional who enjoys working in dynamic, evolving environments and is motivated by the opportunity to help shape and grow an HR function over time. The successful candidate will combine strong HR fundamentals with a collaborative, people-focused mindset.
- Proven experience in a broad HR role with exposure to both operational and people-related activities
- Willingness to travel regularly across Italy (approximately one business trip per week - 1 day long)
- Comfortable working 3 days per week from home, with flexibility on on-site presence
- Fluent English, used confidently in day-to-day interactions with international stakeholders
- Ability to work closely with senior leaders, acting as a trusted HR partner
- Hands-on mindset, with readiness to engage directly in HR activities and initiatives
- Experience supporting organizational change, integration, or growth phases
- Strong stakeholder management skills across different business units
- Ability to work autonomously while aligning with Group HR direction
- Pragmatic approach, suited to evolving and not yet fully structured environments
An international risk-management organisation with over 150 years of experience, providing inspection, testing, certification, training and technical support to help clients operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with regulatory and industry standards across multiple sectors and countries.
Great career opportunity and flexibility.
