An opportunity has arisen for a Steward to join the 2026 summer season at Jumeirah Capri Palace. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Clean and maintain dishes and operating equipment in Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Prepare operating equipment for Banquet functions by counting, sorting, and organizing items.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils to a high standard, minimizing breakage and ensuring cleanliness.
- Sanitize machinery and equipment according to established hygiene standards to prevent contamination.
- Adhere to strict standards of personal hygiene and grooming, including wearing prescribed uniforms and name badges.
- Prioritize security by remaining vigilant and reporting any suspicious circumstances to superiors.
- Maintain departmental areas in a safe and hygienic condition, promptly reporting any damage to furniture or equipment.
- Foster positive communication with colleagues and superiors to promote effective teamwork and morale.
- Attend meetings, briefings, and training sessions to enhance personal and departmental skills.
- Cultivate good working relationships with colleagues and other departments, remaining adaptable to changes dictated by industry, company, or property management.

La risorsa selezionata sarà inserita all'interno della brigata di cucina e collaborerà con il responsabile della partita pasticceria, contribuendo alla preparazione e al servizio secondo gli elevati standard qualitativi della struttura.
Responsabilità
- Supportare il responsabile della partita nella gestione delle attività quotidiane
- Curare la preparazione della mise en place della sezione pasticceria
- Gestire il servizio della propria partita nel rispetto degli standard aziendali
- Coordinare e supervisionare il personale assegnato alla sezione
- Controllare la corretta conservazione e sistemazione delle merci
- Organizzare il riordino delle preparazioni per il servizio successivo
- Verificare il rispetto delle procedure HACCP, della tracciabilità, delle temperature e degli standard di pulizia
- Garantire ordine e organizzazione della postazione di lavoro durante e al termine del servizio
- Collaborare con il team di cucina per assicurare un servizio efficiente e di qualità
Requisiti
- Esperienza pregressa come Capo Partita Pasticceria o in ruoli analoghi
- Conoscenza delle principali tecniche di pasticceria e delle procedure operative di cucina
- Buone capacità organizzative e di coordinamento
- Attitudine al lavoro di squadra e alla collaborazione in contesti strutturati
- Conoscenza della lingua inglese; la conoscenza di ulteriori lingue costituisce titolo preferenziale
- Capacità di lavorare in ambienti dinamici e orientati all'eccellenza
- Cura della persona, professionalità e atteggiamento positivo

About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Bartender to join the summer season 2026 of Jumeirah Capri Palace. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are: ? Takes orders from customers and Waiter/Waitress in a timely, professional and friendly manner. ? Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to Beverage Recipes. ? Serves alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages according to defined standards. ? - Greet guests warmly and engage in friendly conversation to ensure they feel comfortable and welcome upon arrival.
- Schedule dining reservations and coordinate special services or occasions such as anniversaries and birthdays, following Restaurant Reservations SOP.
- Use the F&B Enquiry/Booking checklist to handle restaurant enquiries and bookings efficiently, maintaining high standards.
- Escort guests to their tables, share names with relevant staff, match the dining pace, and present menus promptly after seating.
- Familiarize with the menu and signature dishes to answer guest queries, describe Chef specials, and recommend food and beverage pairings.
- Provide personalized attention to VIP and regular guests/residents, maintaining knowledge of their preferences, allergies, seating choices, and privacy needs.
- Anticipate and fulfill guest needs accurately, including those with special requirements, delivering service that exceeds expectations while adhering to Heart of Jumeirah standards.
- Follow strict confidentiality protocols to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all guests.
- Stay informed about in-house services, destination dining themes, local information, and assist guests accordingly with their enquiries.
- Answer phones promptly using standard scripts, maintain guest history and data accurately, complete checklists, assist in inventories, attend training sessions and meetings regularly, promptly handle complaints, and adhere to departmental policies, HSE processes, SOPs, grooming standards, and Jumeirah's service excellence standards.
