For a leading international entertainment brand, we are looking for a Head of Online Acquisition and Brand Marketing to drive brand strategy, media planning, creative development and customer acquisition across a multi brand portfolio in the Italian market.
This is a high impact leadership role with responsibility for the allocation and performance of an approximately €30M annual marketing budget , spanning multiple brands and acquisition channels. The role sits at the intersection of brand leadership and commercial decision making, with direct accountability for portfolio strategy, agency leadership and measurable growth outcomes.
The position is well suited to a senior marketing leader with strong executive presence, structured thinking and a proven ability to balance brand judgement with analytical, commercially driven decisions. This is not a purely creative or instinct led role: success requires critical thinking, prioritisation and a disciplined approach to marketing effectiveness and investment allocation.
Responsabilità
Key responsibilities:
- Own the allocation, governance and performance of the annual marketing budget across brands, channels and major investment decisions
- Lead brand strategy and portfolio prioritisation across the Italian market
- Oversee and maximise strategic sponsorships, ensuring strong activation plans and return on investment
- Define and deliver annual and quarterly brand and acquisition plans aligned with business objectives
- Lead media planning, campaign strategy and agency management at national level
- Oversee creative development and production, ensuring high standards of effectiveness, consistency and brand impact
- Manage programmatic and performance based acquisition, working in partnership with central centres of excellence
- Drive customer acquisition from physical locations, collaborating closely with retail teams to improve offline to online conversion
- Lead and develop a small in house marketing team, while coordinating effectively with agencies and cross functional stakeholders
- Own marketing KPIs and measurement frameworks; build robust approaches to marketing effectiveness, ROMI and investment prioritisation
Profilo
Candidate profile:
- Significant experience in senior marketing leadership roles (circa 10+ years)
- Proven track record managing large multi million euro marketing budgets, with full accountability for allocation and outcomes
- Structured, analytical mindset, with the ability to make disciplined, evidence based investment decisions
- Strong executive presence and credibility with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Experience building, leading and developing teams
- Strong judgement on creative quality and brand strategy
- Genuine interest in the entertainment and consumer landscape
