For our client, a leading international asset manager and part of a major global financial group, we are currently looking for a:

JUNIOR ASSET PRICING AND VALUATION ANALYST

The candidate will join the Pricing, Valuation & Data Administration team and will be involved in a broad range of activities concerning the whole asset under management of the Group.



Responsibilities

The candidate will be directly responsible for:
  • Support the activity of daily validation of prices ;
  • Utilize financial engines to perform pricing activities, designing and implementing financial mathematical models ensuring the accuracy and reliability of valuations;
  • Monitoring NAV deliveries for alternative investments and ensuring accurate and timely data integration and configuration;
  • Support the team in activities related to alternative investments, including document analysis, NAV timeline monitoring, and coordination with internal stakeholders for data collection;
  • Answer to clients' request/incident;
  • Archive and constantly monitor the documentation supporting prices validation ;
  • Interact with other Departments (mainly Group Chief Finance Officer and Group Chief Investments Officer area);
  • Perform periodically ex-post checks on processes and analyze possible procedure improvements/automations.


Your Profile

  • University Degree in Economics, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or similar;
  • Good knowledge of financial instruments reference data and markets;
  • 2+ years of experience in pricing activities and/or data management within asset managers, banks, insurance companies or consulting firms;
  • Proved good programming skills (C++, python, java), computing environments (Matlab, R, Numerix) and advanced knowledge of MS Office;
  • Fluency in English and Italian, other foreign languages are a plus;
  • Proactive, strong team working, solid problem solving and ability to perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines.
Location : Milan or Rome (hybrid working model).
