Job description
Reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), you will manage and develop a customer portfolio across Northern- Central Italy, within electronic and automation sector (including robotics and electronic/embedded system industries). You will be responsible for defining and coordinating commercial activities in your region, leading and supporting the local sales organization (Key Account Managers, agents, and distributors), and ensuring that sales strategies are executed effectively in alignment with company objectives. The role combines strategic sales management, operational oversight of commercial performance (revenue, margins, targets), and continuous market analysis to identify growth opportunities, with a primary base in Milan.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop sales in Northern-Central Italy, with a focus on embedded and electronics markets.
- Define, plan, and coordinate commercial activities in the assigned countries.
- Manage and support the local sales team (Key Account Managers, agents, distributors) in the area.
- Monitor commercial performance, including revenue, profitability, and achievement of sales targets.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers and partners in the region.
- Coordinate with internal functions (e.g., marketing, operations, finance, technical teams) to ensure execution of commercial strategies.
- Analyze local markets and trends to identify business development and growth opportunities.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in commercial/sales roles in the embedded and electronics sector, preferably in automation, robotics, electronic, or embedded systems industries.
- Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in a technical field (e.g., electronics, electrical engineering, automation, or related disciplines).
- Fluent (excellent) command of the English language.
- Seniority consistent with a seasoned sales management profile; applications are considered based on skills and experience.
- Ability to manage complex sales portfolios across multiple countries and regions.
- Experience leading and supporting local sales teams.
- Strong skills in monitoring and managing sales performance metrics (revenue, margins, targets).
- Competence in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers and partners.
- English Fluent
- Work location: Milan.
- Compensation range: 70.000 - 90.000 Euro + bonus + company car.
