We are seeking a Finance Manager to support the launch of a newly relocated distribution and light‑assembly facility in Italy, planned to start operations in Q1 2026. This is a hands‑on role in a growing environment, responsible for establishing financial processes, controls, and reporting while managing daily accounting activities. The position will evolve into building and leading a local accounting team.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a financial partner to site
leadership, providing analysis, KPIs, and insights for operational and
commercial decisions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial
analysis, and variance reviews.
- Manage core processes: inventory and cost
accounting, budgeting, consolidation, and reporting.
- Support Monthly and Quarterly Business
Reviews.
- Supervise accounting operations (AP, AR,
bank accounting, general ledger, accruals, reconciliations) and perform tasks
directly when needed.
- Ensure compliance with Italian statutory
requirements, tax obligations, and corporate accounting policies.
- Coordinate with external advisors for
VAT, statutory filings, and audits.
- Implement and maintain strong internal
controls.
- Recruit, train, and develop accounting
staff as the organization grows.
Your Profile
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; certifications (CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years' experience with strong hands‑on accounting skills, ideally in manufacturing or distribution.
- High integrity, structured mindset, and strong ownership.
- Proactive and comfortable working independently in an early‑stage operation.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
