Our client is an international technology company specializing in Open Source digital solutions for research, cultural heritage, and academic institutions. As part of its expansion strategy in North America, the company is looking for a Business Developer to drive growth across the United States.
Responsibilities
Independently execute outbound and inbound business development initiatives to acquire new clients and support market expansion across North America.

Manage the entire sales cycle through the company CRM, collaborating closely with Marketing, Pre-Sales, Technical teams, and strategic partners.

Identify, qualify, and nurture new opportunities, guiding prospects in understanding the value and benefits of the proposed solutions.

Develop and strengthen relationships with institutional stakeholders, professionally navigating procurement procedures and leading contract negotiations.

Provide strategic insights into market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to support the company's US growth strategy.
Your Profile
A proactive and resilient hunter of new business opportunities.

Passionate about creating, enhancing, and delivering tangible value to clients.

Results-driven, confident in leading negotiations toward successful, mutually beneficial agreements.

5?6 years of experience in commercial roles within the IT or digital solutions industry, ideally in SaaS, Open Source, EdTech, or ResearchTech environments.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present solutions to institutional stakeholders.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple opportunities at different stages of the sales funnel.

Solid knowledge of leading sales methodologies and funnel optimization techniques relevant to the industry.

Fully capable of managing a deal end-to-end, from initial outreach to closing, independently gathering and evaluating key information.

Fluent English is mandatory.
