ABOUT EXPERIMENTAL ROMA

Opening in mid-2026 on Via Ludovisi, just off the legendary Via Veneto, Experimental Roma will be a vibrant and cinematic new destination from Experimental.

Housed in a former bank, the hotel has been transformed by interior designer Rodolphe Parente into a space that embodies the essence of la dolce vita : elegant, timeless, and irresistibly Italian.

The property will feature 82 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and a spectacular rooftop with a suspended pool offering breathtaking views over the magnificent cityscape of Rome.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Pastry Commis assists in the preparation of desserts, entremets, and other sweet creations, while ensuring compliance with hygiene and quality standards, thereby contributing to a unique gourmet experience for our guests.

In this context, the main responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the development of the dessert menu.

  • Ensuring the production and service of desserts within a food service establishment.

  • Applying current hygiene and safety regulations.

  • Wearing professional attire in compliance with hygiene and safety legislation.

ABOUT YOU

You have proven experience as a Pastry Commis or in a similar role. You possess excellent knowledge and mastery of cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.

You are organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong passion for the world of gastronomy.

You have a good understanding of hygiene standards and are available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

ABOUT THE JOB We are currently looking for a Room Supervisor to ensure a high-quality service and guarantee guest satisfaction within the hotel. You will lead a team, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas of the hotel are impeccably maintained. As part of your responsibilities, you will be required to: Team Management and Supervision - Train and supervise the housekeeping team responsible for guest rooms and public areas. - Plan and organize work schedules to ensure optimal coverage of the hotel's housekeeping needs. - Oversee the daily work of the team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. - Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance. - Foster a positive and motivating work environment. Quality Assurance - Regularly inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with hotel standards. - Ensure that special guest requests are considered and resolve housekeeping-related complaints quickly and efficiently. - Implement and maintain strict cleaning procedures to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. - Ensure that all rooms are fully prepared and ready for guest arrivals. Inventory and Supplies Management - Manage the inventory of cleaning products and housekeeping supplies. - Order necessary supplies while adhering to the allocated budget. Coordination with Other Departments - Collaborate with the Front Office department to ensure smooth communication regarding room status. - Work closely with the Maintenance department to report and follow up on repairs and maintenance issues. Safety and Compliance - Ensure compliance with health and safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment. - Train staff on safety procedures and ensure they are properly followed. - Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and safety inspections. ABOUT YOU Passionate about the hospitality industry, you have initial experience (in a 4- or 5-star hotel) in a similar position, including team management and staff development. Dynamic and proactive, you have a strong sense of service. You maintain an excellent professional appearance, are available, and always attentive to guests' needs.
