Sales & Commercial Strategy
- Define and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives and growth plans;
- Lead and manage the sales team including agents;
- Develop key account strategies for hospitals, public and private laboratories, and reference centers;
- Oversee pricing strategies, tenders, contracts definition, order negotiations, and order processing;
- Monitor sales budgeting, forecasting, and performance against budget and sales objectives, implementing appropriate countermeasures when not met.
Marketing & Product Management
- Develop and execute marketing plans for molecular diagnostic assays, instruments, and consumables;
- Define product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies;
- Coordinate product launches in collaboration with all the other concerned functions;
- Oversee market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback;
- Supervise creation of marketing and scientific materials.
Customer Support Services
- Oversee Customer Support Services, including technical support, application support, and service contracts;
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships;
- Coordinate service team activities (installation, maintenance, training, troubleshooting);
- Define and monitor service KPIs, response times, and quality standards;
- Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery of products and spare parts.
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and channel partners;
- Represent the company at industry events, congresses, and customer meetings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with all the concerned functions to ensure compliance with IVD regulations (IVDR, ISO 13485, CE marking);
- Provide commercial and customer feedback to support product improvement and innovation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or Business
(MBA or advanced scientific degree preferred);
- 8-10+ years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the IVD sector;
- Strong knowledge of Molecular Diagnostic market (RT-PCR), preferably including digital PCR and NGS;
- Knowledge of Italian clinical laboratories Key Opinions Leaders;
- Proven leadership experience in medium-sized or growing companies;
- Track record in managing Customer Support functions;
- Experience in the Italian healthcare market; international exposure is a plus.
