What you will do

As a Senior Expert Data Centers at CESI S.p.A., your main responsibilities will include:

• Reliability and availability studies of data center power supply;
• Risk analysis and development of mitigation plans;
• Customer support for managing the network connection and commissioning process, development and support during the authorization phase;
• Technical due diligence on power solutions and HV configurations;
• Regulatory compliance analysis;
• Coordination support with Terna and authorities for permits and approvals;
• Drafting technical and reporting documentation in English;
• Support to the internal team for technical coordination activities and supervision and mentoring of junior profiles.

What you bring

Among all your other talents, your key knowledge and experience is:

Knowledge & Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar (master's degree preferred)
• Experience ≥ 10 years in HV/MV projects for data centers and industrial plants
• In-depth knowledge of reliability and risk management analysis (HazID studies, HILP scenarios for electrical infrastructure, MTTR ? MTTF assessments, architectural redundancies, Tier, DC standards)
• In-depth knowledge of Italian network codes (Terna, with particular focus on the connection process) and European regulations
• knowledge of Substation design and Energy quality (voltage, harmonics, flicker, RoCoF)

Skills and competences

• Coordination capacity with stakeholders (Contractors, Terna, authorities)
• Excellent knowledge of Italian and English
• Availability for trips to national/international territory

Non-mandatory qualifying requests

• TSO/DSO connection processes in international contexts
• Experience in hyperscale projects
• Knowledge of technical software (AutoCAD, PowerFactory, ETAP)
• Familiarity with data center standards (EN 50600, Uptime Institute / Tier, TIA-942)
• PMP certifications or project management equivalents
