LHH is supporting an international industrial group in the search for a Financial Controller to report directly to the Head of Controlling.
Responsibilities
The person will be responsible for the following activities:
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee cost accounting, product costing, and margin analysis for manufacturing operations.
- Monitor budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing variance analysis and performance insights.
- Lead working capital management, including inventory, receivables, and payables control.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and internal control procedures.
- Coordinate audits?internal, external, and statutory.
- Implement and enhance ERP-based financial processes.
- Prepare cash flow analysis and support treasury-related activities.
Your Profile
Candidates possessing the following requirements will be taken into consideration:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in financial controlling within industrial/manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, industrial KPIs.
- Solid understanding of IFRS/GAAP and internal controls.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP SAP.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong Excel and capabilities.
- Ability to partner with operations and communicate effectively across functions.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Leadership mindset with ability to work under tight deadlines.
City: Milan
Salary: 45.000€ - 50.000€.
