We are searching for an analytical and business-driven Demand Planner to lead the demand planning process for our client, a global provider of innovative chemical products.
This role drives the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle, ensuring a reliable 24-month rolling forecast and supporting long-term planning and budgeting. The ideal candidate brings strong forecasting expertise, experience with statistical methods, and the ability to collaborate effectively across Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams.
Responsabilità
- Lead the monthly forecasting process and maintain a 24-month rolling forecast.
- Analyze trends, monitor changes, and communicate key insights to Supply Planning and Commercial teams.
- Evaluate forecast accuracy and support the transition toward structured, statistical forecasting processes.
- Support demand planning for NPD, product transitions, and slow/obsolete inventory analysis.
- Prepare consensus reports and contribute to the IBP cycle, facilitating regional review meetings.
- Use Oracle Cloud Supply Chain tools and develop interim Excel solutions during system transitions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Europe and global regions to harmonize planning practices.
Profilo
- Bachelor's degree in management engineering, Business, or related field.
- 7?10 years of experience in S&OP, IBP, demand planning, or materials management.
- Strong expertise in statistical forecasting (Winter's, Holt, Croston).
- Experience with Oracle Demand Management Cloud is preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset and solid business acumen.
- Fluent in English and Italian, with excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Proactive, self-directed, and
comfortable managing multiple priorities.
